Horseback Tours at Snowbird  
Guided Horseback ToursHigh Country Exploring provides guided horse, ATV and Polaris Crew Cab Ranger tours in Snowbird’s Mineral Basin and American Fork Canyon. Tours last one, two and three hours in Snowbird’s back bowl and backcountry terrain. Horse tours check in at the Snowbird Activity Center one hour prior to tour then ride the Snowbird Tram to Hidden Peak where a guide meets guests. Following a brief orientation, horseback tours meet their guide on Hidden Peak at the top of Snowbird’s Tram and are transported into Mineral Basin where the horseback tour begins. AGES6+ for escorted ride; 16+ for riding alone HOURS* Daily, 11 a.m., 1 p.m., 3 p.m., and 5 p.m., conditions permitting PRICING 1 hour – $59 2 hour – $89 3 hour, including lunch – $149 SCHEDULES & RESERVATIONS Snowbird Activity Center Snowbird Center, Level Three 801.933.2147, in-house ext 4147 Open daily 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. For the safety of the horse and the rider, we do have a weight restriction of 250 lbs. *All activities, lift openings, terrain access and hours of operation are conditions permitting and may change at any time. |
