The Lodge at Snowbird, built in 1971, is a condominium property with a great design located within short walking distance of the Snowbird Center. Guests exit the Lodge from the ground level and walk east to the Snowbird Center where guests can access the Tram, Peruvian chair lift or the cat track to Gad Valley.

A multi-year renovation was completed in 2004. The pool level and first floor were completely redesigned to create more space. Improvements to the pool level include the remodel of the restaurant and steam room, the addition of a fitness room near the outdoor pool and hot tub, plus an additional meeting room. A dry sauna is located inside the men and women’s changing room. The pool, hot tub, steam room and dry saunas are open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily. Towels and paper cups are available in the pool area.

Every guestroom was remodeled during the Lodge’s recent renovation as well as the fourth floor lobby. All rooms have color television with cable and On Command movies; telephones with dataport for dial-up access. All 143 rooms were redesigned with everything from new mattresses to artwork. Carpets were replaced, walls painted, new light fixtures installed and custom furniture. New coverlets and dust ruffles add the finishing touch to the quality furnishings. Each room in the Lodge has an exterior balcony and spectacular mountain views. Fireplaces and kitchens are available in many of the rooms. DVD and VCR players are available upon request.

Upgrades to the lobby include new carpet, furnishings and décor. A business center is available off the Lobby area with high-speed Internet access available in the lobby.

The Lodge offers complimentary coffee, tea, cider and hot chocolate. Complimentary newspapers are also included. Board games and books are available at the front desk at no charge. Kid’s movies are available each Monday and Thursday evening from 5:30-10 p.m. during the winter months. Included are complimentary cookies and soft drinks.

Complimentary wine and cheese receptions are held each Monday and Thursday evening from 5:30-6:30 p.m. in the lobby during the winter months. A Lecture Series is held each Wednesday evening from 5:30-6:30 p.m. during the winter in the Aspen Meeting Room located on the fifth floor.

The remodeled Lodge Bistro with its stunning mountain views offers a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The restaurant is complemented by a sunroom with floor-to-ceiling windows that bring the outside in to the multi-use area that includes afternoon tea and is a popular apres ski spot. The Bistro Lounge is open from 4-10 p.m.; the restaurant is open from 5-9 p.m. Hours may vary during the summer months.

The Lodge units are individually owned. Owners have first priority in their unit therefore guests requests are accommodated after owner reservations are filled.
