The Lodge at Snowbird, built in 1971, is a condominium property with a great design located within short walking distance of the Snowbird Center. Guests exit the Lodge from the ground level and walk east to the Snowbird Center where guests can access the Tram, Peruvian chair lift or the cat track to Gad Valley.
A multi-year renovation was completed in 2004, encompassing the pool, hot tub, steam room, restaurant, fitness center and an additional meeting room. A dry sauna is located inside the men and women’s changing room. The pool, hot tub, steam room and dry saunas are open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily. Towels and paper cups are available in the pool area.
All 143 rooms were redesigned with everything from new mattresses to artwork. Each room in the Lodge has an exterior balcony and spectacular mountain views. Fireplaces and kitchens are available in many of the rooms. DVD players are available upon request.
The lobby greets guests with a majestic view of Snowbird’s north facing slopes, the grandeur of a center fireplace and baby grand piano with a lending library and comfortable furnishings to lounge and relax. Complimentary coffee, tea, cider and hot chocolate await along with daily newspapers. Complimentary wine and cheese receptions are held each Monday and Thursday evening from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. in the lobby during the winter months. A business center is available off the lobby area with free, newly-improved high-speed wireless Internet access available throughout the building.
Board games and books are available at the front desk at no charge. Kid’s movies are available each Monday and Thursday evening from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. during the winter months, with complimentary cookies and soft drinks.
