How far is Snowbird from the airport? Salt Lake City International Airport is 29 miles (40 minutes) from Snowbird Ski & Summer Resort. Click HERE to download a PDF of driving directions to Snowbird.

What are the seasons? Snowbird is a four-season resort. Expect snow from mid-November through mid-April. May brings melting snow and warmer temperatures which give way to a more comfortable summer climate. Summer continues mid-June through mid-September. Fall colors and cooler temperatures are normal from mid-September until the snow begins to fall.

Is day care available? Camp Snowbird, a state licensed day care facility, provides excellent care for infants, toddlers, and youth up to 12 years of age. No matter the season, the kids will have a blast at Camp Snowbird. Private babysitting services are also available.

How many sleeping rooms are at Snowbird and how much meeting space is available for groups? Snowbird has 500 guestrooms available for groups throughout the Snowbird village. The Cliff Lodge has 345 guestrooms with the remaining rooms located at the Lodge at Snowbird and The Inn at Snowbird. There is 50,000 square feet of meeting space available for groups at Snowbird.

How many food & beverage outlets are at Snowbird? Depending on the season, Snowbird has up to 15 outlets serving everything from ice cream and pizza to gourmet meals. For more information, check out our Dining Guide.

Do you have golf, tennis and a spa on property? Although Snowbird does not have a golf course on property, we do have access to several challenging courses nearby. Snowbird’s Cliff Spa, located on the top two floors of the Cliff Lodge, offers a full complement of services provided by a staff of 40 trained massage therapists, facialists and other specialists. Treatments include stone massage, aromatherapy and hair care.

Is there public transportation available to the airport, Salt Lake City, and Park City? There are several public transportation companies offering service to the airport, Salt Lake City, and Park City. Arrangements for transportation can be made at any of our lodges. Is shopping available at the resort? Snowbird offers a wide variety of retail shops which feature everything from silk carpets, clothing items, ski and snowboard gear, as well as jewlery. Click here for a description of the various RETAIL SHOPS

What is there to do at Snowbird? From concerts and festivals to the Alpine Slide and scenic Aerial Tram rides to Hidden Peak, there is something for everyone to enjoy during the summer and winter time. Other mountain activities include hiking, fishing, horseback and ATV tours in Mineral Basin, hiking, mountain scooters and mountain biking, the ZipRider, Bungy Trampoline, mechanical bull, kid’s inflatable playland and rides on the new Peruvian Express Chairlift and Tunnel. Resort visitors can relax and enjoy patio dining on summer fare and experience exquisite views at the nearly 900-room resort.
