Instructor Training Academy
Ever wondered what it would be like to teach skiing or snowboarding? How do the pros get ready for the season? Do YOU have what it takes?
The Snowbird Mountain School is conducting a hiring academy to fill instructor positions for the 2012-2013 season. The “Instructor Training Academy” will evaluate and provide coaching for communication skills, guest service awareness, teaching skills and skiing/riding skills. This is the most economical and informative way to begin your season. Groups will be split between those desiring a position in the school and those who are merely seeking coaching and personal challenge.
Price: $180 (Includes all sessions and lift tickets!)
Payment: Full payment or a $60 non-refundable deposit is required at registration to hold your space. The balance of the Camp tuition ($120) is due at the first class.

Snowbird Mountain School cannot extend purchase deadlines, provide refunds, allow students to switch dates between sessions or provide “make-ups” for missed classes. Due to the unique quality of our resort location, there are times when Little Cottonwood Canyon road and/or lift access is delayed due to avalanche danger. In these cases we monitor the situation closely and send programs out as soon as there is staff available and conditions warrant. Circumstances change with each situation and therefore it is important for guests to communicate with our staff. If lessons are missed due to these extreme circumstances, we will make every effort to accommodate our guests.
Unless otherwise indicated, children’s programs are for 3 - 6 year olds, youth programs are for 7 - 15 year olds and adult programs are for age 16+.
