Non-Certified Returning Staff
Attend Fall Refresher Training and 3 days required training to complete Phase 1, Dec. 2-4 or Dec. 14-16.
Phase Update Training
Instructors with Phase credentials are required to participate in an additional 6 hours of unpaid training prior to the mandatory training date deadline to maintain their Phase status.
Certification/Phase Training
ALL training is preparation for AASI/PSIA certification and Snowbird Phase accreditation. There may be specific clinics dealing with exam formats and other topics specific to certification and accreditation, but candidates should plan on attending a broad range of training.
All clinics offer opportunities to improve skiing/riding and also observe and practice teaching concepts. Certification and accreditation are the culmination of aquired knowledge and skill—not simply a reward for a completed checklist of hoops jumped through.
