If you’re coming to Snowbird to access big mountain terrain or explore the backcountry, then BMX Private is the program for you! Expert skiers and riders will learn backcountry protocols, mountain awareness, terrain management, challenge personal capabilities and refine skills in this private adventure.

Dean Cummings, Alaskan helicopter guide, specially selects and trains the BMX Private staff to lead your group to Snowbird’s best snow and secret spots. Cited in Powder Magazine’s 35th anniversary issue as one of the world’s 48 most influential people of the past 35 years, Dean’s career and talents, include a successful career on the US Ski Team, winner – 1995 World Extreme Skiing Championships and 36 feature length films including thousands of first descents around the world.

PRIVATE LESSONS – Private Lessons may be reserved for anytime during the season with payment in full due two weeks prior to the start date. We recommend booking as early as possible if you have requests for specific instructors.

RESERVATIONS – All our valued guests are encouraged to secure first choice dates by calling or e-mailing in advance. Reservations are subject to product availability and products may sell out at any time. We request that only one family be included on each reservation. OTHER INFORMATION – Please note that all Mountain School programs are sold on a first-come, first-served basis and except for private instruction, require a minimum of 2 participants. Lift tickets are required in addition to mountain school programs unless otherwise noted. All activities begin promptly at their designated times. Please allow a minimum of 60 minutes to arrange for equipment rentals and to get to your designated meeting place. Due to the size of the resort and the number of guests enrolled in activities, we are not able to accommodate late arrivals. Refunds will not be issued. eCoupons expire April 12, 2009. Class lessons are scheduled to be available through 4/13/09. Private lessons may remain available by reservation, conditions permitting, until 4/27/09. Mountain School may modify this schedule as needed. Only Private lessons and Specialty Camps will utilize side door Tram access prior to 11:00 a.m. Snowbird Mountain School cannot extend purchase deadlines, provide refunds, allow students to switch dates between sessions, or provide “make-ups” for missed classes. Unless otherwise indicated, children’s programs are for 3 – 6 year olds, youth programs are for 7 – 15 year olds, and adult programs are for age 16+.
