Take your riding to the next level in an environment of safety, confidence building, and joy. All Levels: First Day Beginners to Gnar Shredding Rippers. Everyone is accommodated. Our campers tell us that SheRide is a completely different experience. At SheRide, our strongest desire is to share our love and passion for snowboarding with other women. We work hard to show our guests a world of pure fun and excitement while doing things they never dreamed they could do. You still might get a little nervous at times, but you will be surrounded by a skilled and gentle coaching staff, AND other women at your exact same level who will inevitably say “I’ll try it if you try it.” And then, before you know it, the fear is replaced by feelings of unbridled exhilaration and confidence!    Join us for three days of riding in the company of other women, coached by women. Enjoy a supportive peer environment led by SheRide’s finest pros as you move and learn at your own pace. Whether you’re a Snowbird veteran, or new to our majestic terrain, you’ll learn to tackle steeps, negotiate trees, whisk through chutes, and bury your body in powder. Open to All Skill Levels This may be the funnest camp ever as we have chosen the perfect venue, The Lodge at Snowbird! Each camper has her own bed, a roommate, and a kitchen. All rooms have balconies facing the mountain. We will have our home base inside the Lodge the second two days of camp, and the Tram center is literally just a walk across the street, so everything is very easy to navigate. OTHER INFORMATION – Please note that all Mountain School programs are sold on a first-come, first-served basis and except for private instruction, require a minimum of 2 participants. Lift tickets are required in addition to mountain school programs unless otherwise noted. All activities begin promptly at their designated times. Please allow a minimum of 60 minutes to arrange for equipment rentals and to get to your designated meeting place. Due to the size of the resort and the number of guests enrolled in activities, we are not able to accommodate late arrivals. Class lessons are scheduled to be available from NOVEMBER 25, 2011 through April 15, 2012. Private lessons are available by reservation, conditions permitting, from season opening date until April 30, 2012. Mountain School may modify this schedule as needed. Private lessons and Specialty Camps only will utilize side door Tram access prior to 11:00 a.m. Snowbird Mountain School cannot extend purchase deadlines, provide refunds, allow students to switch dates between sessions, or provide “make-ups” for missed classes. Due to the unique quality of our resort location, there are times when Little Cottonwood Canyon road and/or lift access is delayed due to avalanche danger. In these cases we monitor the situation closely and send programs out as soon as there is staff available and conditions warrant. Circumstances change with each situation and therefore it is important for guests to communicate with our staff. If lessons are missed due to these extreme circumstances, we will make every effort to accommodate our guests. Unless otherwise indicated, children’s programs are for 3 – 6 year olds, youth programs are for 7 – 15 year olds, and adult programs are for age 16+. mountainschool@snowbird.com |
