Spring 2010 at Snowbird

Updated June 16, 2010

June 19 – 20: The remaining upper mountain snowpack has not melted significantly in the last week allowing us to offer one final weekend of skiing and riding at Snowbird on the Regulator Johnson run. We will be open Saturday and Sunday, June 19 and 20, (not Friday) from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. The skiing and riding is recommended for experts only. Please note, there is one significant change to our late-season skiing: Guests, regardless of their pass type, will only be allowed to ride the Tram once per day. We will issue all guests a paper ticket through the Snowbird Center ticket office good for one ride on the Tram. This will help keep people from skiing the lower mountain, which is unskiable in most areas.

Regulator Johnson will be the open run and can be accessed from the Little Cloud lift. When guests are finished skiing and snowboarding, they will need to hike to the Tram and download.

Summer activities open for Father’s Day Weekend! Also featuring Brewfest and the first of Snowbird’s free Cool Air Concert Series.

Spring skiing operation will be subject to weather, mountain conditions, business levels, and construction schedules and may be canceled due to poor conditions or lack of snow. Thank you for your support.
