Snowbird Showcases 2023-24 Season Pass Offerings, Including New Kids Ski Free Pass Program

Snowbird, Utah – During a winter characterized by above-average snowfall, Snowbird has announced pass details for the upcoming 2023-24 winter season. Among the many updates is the new Kids Freeloader Pass program that gives every 2023-24 Adult, Military or Senior Snowbird Summit passholder the option to add on one free season pass for anyone 18 and under. With skiing and riding scheduled through at least Memorial Day, all who purchase a new 2023-24 Summit Pass will get free, immediate access to the mountain for the remainder of this spring at Snowbird, in addition to next season.

“It takes a village to raise children—especially in the mountains—and we hope that our new Kids Freeloader Pass program cultivates a lifelong love of skiing and riding, whether it’s via a grandparent, mentor, family friend or parent,” said Snowbird President and General Manager Dave Fields. “With new programs like this, as well as options like our $71-down payment plan or the Flex-5 Pass, we are prioritizing access and flexibility for those who aspire to be at Snowbird.”

The Snowbird Summit Pass will go on sale April 13, 2023, offering immediate access to skiing and riding with a payment plan option of just $71 down. The Alta-Bird Pass will be available later this spring, with more details to come. Both passes will be eligible for an Ikon Base Pass Add-On. New this season, the Flex-5 Pass will also go on sale April 13, offering five days of skiing and riding next season at Snowbird with zero blackout dates for just $79/day.

All 2023-24 Snowbird Summit passholders will receive Bird Benefits which provide unlimited access to summertime Scenic Tram Rides (with the option to upgrade to the rooftop deck) and Peruvian Express; free UTA Ski Bus fare; unlimited 20% off select Mountain School programs, rentals, logo merchandise and ski or snowboard repairs; a lodging rate discount starting at $129 and five 50% off Friends and Family Tickets*. They will also get the Wasatch Benefit—which gives them one mid-week (Monday – Thursday), non-holiday day ticket at Alta, Brighton and Deer Valley—and 50% off on tickets at all Mountain Collective resorts during the 2023-24 season.

If purchased prior to June 1, 2023, renewing Adult, Senior and Military season passholders will also get Bird Loyalty Benefits which include one free night at The Cliff Lodge from May 1, 2023 – November 30, 2023 (based on availability), two All-Day Activity Passes for Summer 2023 and 50% off two Fast Tracks, valid during the 2023-24 season.

2023-24 Preferred Parking Passes will give access to preferred parking lots at Snowbird and will be available for purchase starting April 13 for $899. Only limited quantities of the Preferred Parking Pass are available. Snowbird parking will continue to be offered via a hybrid approach, with paid, reserved parking options being offered while most parking will remain free, first-come, first-served.

*Kids passes do not come with Friends and Family tickets.
