Yes. Carpooling and taking the bus count for the same amount of points. Access the UTA Ski Bus schedule directly through the app. All Snowbird season passholders receive a free UTA bus pass.

Do I earn points for carpooling or taking the bus down? Does the app help me find a ride back down canyon?
No. Snowbird’s R.I.D.E. app is intended to track carpooling and taking the bus TO Snowbird once daily. The app does not track or arrange a ride back home. Please arrange your carpool plan to return home with your friends directly or ride the UTA Ski Bus back to the Park & Ride you started at. Find the UTA Ski Bus schedule link in the app.
