Season Pass 2024-25 FAQ

If you are renewing a 2023-24 Snowbird Pass, your 2024-25 pass can be automatically added to your existing season pass card.

If you are a new passholder or need a new pass card, you can quickly redeem your Summit, Kids Freeloader, Alta-Bird or Flex-5 Pass at the Pick-Up Boxes located throughout the Snowbird Center, Creekside Lodge and The Cliff Lodge. Get your pass now to head straight to the mountain on Opening Day. Learn more about how to redeem your new season pass in 2 easy steps:

Scan the QR code from your printed confirmation or phone.
Your pass will print and drop into the tray.

For Summit and Alta-Bird Passholders who purchased the Ikon Base Add-On Benefit, you will have until November 29 to complete the waiver and upload your photo to redeem your Ikon Base Add-On Benefit. The Ikon Base Add-On Benefit delivery will be fulfilled by Ikon.

All 2024-25 season passes must be purchased online through pass.snowbird.com.

If a season pass card is lost, there will be a $5 Pass Replacement Fee at the time of reprinting. Snowbird urges their passholders to hold on to their season pass year after year in an effort to reduce waste. If you have a 2023-24 Season Pass and renew it for 2024-25, access to lifts and the Tram will automatically load onto your existing season pass. Passholders will not need to pay the $5 Pass Replacement Fee at the start of the season and passes damaged due to normal usage will be replaced at no charge. Starting in 2024-25, passholders whose pass is lost, damaged or stolen will need to visit the Season Pass Office to replace their season pass card. Do not punch a hole in your pass as doing so will damage its capabilities at the gate.

Lost Pass: Please report a lost pass to the Season Pass Office at tickets@snowbird.com as soon as possible. You are liable for any misuse while the pass is not in your possession unless you have reported your pass lost/stolen prior to the misuse. Lost passes can be replaced for a $5 Pass Replacement Fee.

Forgotten or Damaged Pass: If you forgot your pass or your pass is damaged, you can pay the $5 Pass Replacement Fee to obtain a new pass. Passes damaged due to normal usage will be replaced at no charge. Other damages will result in a $5 Pass Replacement Fee. Do not punch a hole in your pass as doing so will damage the RFID capabilities.

All active, retired and veteran Military qualify for a Military Summit or Alta-Bird Pass. Verification is required.

The Kids Freeloader Pass is a free, unlimited pass to Snowbird for anyone 18 and under, linked to the purchase of a qualifying Summit or Alta-Bird Pass. Every 2024-25 Adult, Senior or Military Summit or Alta-Bird Pass comes with the option to add on a FREE Kids Freeloader Pass. No relation between passholders is needed.

Adult, Senior and Military Summit and Alta-Bird passholders qualify for 1 Kids Freeloader Pass per season pass purchased (valid at Snowbird only).

The Kids Freeloader Pass can be assigned to anyone (age 18 and under) with the purchase of an Adult, Senior or Military Summit or Alta-Bird Pass. The Kids Freeloader Pass is non-transferable and valid at Snowbird only. The adult and youth do not need to be related.

No, the adult associated with the Kids Freeloader Pass does not need to be present for the pass to work.

No. Snowbird recognizes that families and communities come in different shapes and sizes. By not requiring the Adult, Senior or Military Summit or Alta-Bird Pass associated with the Kids Freeloader Pass to be a legal guardian, we hope to support kids who get on the mountain with grandparents, aunts, uncles, family friends and more.

The Kids Freeloader Pass can be added upon checkout of an Adult, Military or Senior Summit or Alta-Bird Pass. It can also be added later in the season by visiting the Season Pass Office by February 28, 2025.

The payment plan is available for the Summit and Alta-Bird Passes, when purchased by August 31, 2024. The payment plan does not apply to the optional Ikon Base Add-On benefit.

Yes, the payment plan can be used for purchasing multiple Summit or Alta-Bird Pass products.

$71 Down Payment Schedule

The $71 down payment will be charged on the day of purchase, and the remaining cost of your pass will be broken down into 5 equal monthly payments. Each subsequent installment will occur on the 20th of each month starting in June. The $71 down payment plan is available through June 5, 2024. The installment payments will be on the following dates:

Standard Payment Schedule

If you purchase your pass from June 6 - August 31, 2024, the cost of your pass will be split into 3 equal monthly payments, with the first payment due on the day of purchase. The remaining installments will be due on:

Payment plans are not available after August 31, 2024.

No, the payment plan is interest-free.

The $50 Renewal Discount is eligible for anyone who had a 2023-24 Summit, Alta-Bird, Flex-5 or Kids Freeloader Pass. To utilize the $50 Renewal Discount, you must purchase a 2024-25 Summit Pass by June 5.

The $50 Renewal Discount can be exclusively be applied to the purchase of a 2024-25 Summit Adult, Senior, Young Adult, Military, College/Medical Resident, Teen or Youth Pass.

Note: The $50 Renewal Discount can not be used on the purchase of an Alta-Bird, Summit 6 & Under Pass or Flex-5 Pass.

Log in to your pass.snowbird.com account and visit the Renewal - Season Pass product category from the dropdown menu. The renewal discount products will only be visible to passholders after logging into their accounts.

The $50 Renewal Discount can be applied to one pass at a time. If you are renewing multiple passes, you may use multiple $50 Renewal Discounts, 1 per pass.

Kids Freeloader Pass: You can add on your Kids Freeloader Pass during checkout or contact the Season Pass Office after purchasing your pass to add on a Kids Freeloader Pass at a later date (must be redeemed by February 28, 2025).
Discounted Lift Tickets & Lessons: The (5) 50% off Friends & Family Lift Tickets and 20% off Mountain School group lessons can be redeemed in advance online by logging in to your pass.snowbird.com account.
Discounted Lodging: You can claim your Snowbird passholder rate online or by calling 1-800-232-9542. You will have to present your season pass at check-in to secure the rate.

The Wasatch Benefit includes:

1 free day at each of the following resorts during the 2024-25 Winter season: Alta*, Brighton and Deer Valley*.

Wasatch Benefit is not valid on weekends or holidays. Blackout dates are Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays along with December 26-31, 2024; January 18-19 and February 15-16, 2025. To redeem, present your Summit or Alta-Bird Pass to the ticket office at each resort.

*Please note these resorts only allow skiers.

All Summit and Alta-Bird Passes for all ages automatically come with the Wasatch Benefit.

Snowbird does not require parking reservations. When parking at Alta, please defer to their parking policy. Alta-Bird Passholders get free parking reservations at Alta.

You'll receive 5 days of unlimited access to the Snowbird. Days do not have to be consecutive and there are no blackout dates.

The Flex-5 Pass includes free UTA Ski Bus ridership and a discount on Woodward Camps.
