Camp Snowbird

A new adventure every day in the beautiful outdoor setting of Little Cottonwood Canyon. Our campers learn about the mountain environment and connect with Snowbird's unique location through sports, art and wellness activities. Camp Snowbird is open for ages 5-12 years. 

Kids ages 5-8 enjoy daily adventures exploring the mountain, as well as crafts, swimming, games, Snowbird's summer activities and more. Kids ages 9-12 experience more challenging mountain adventures and educational activities.

REGISTRATION

Call 801-947-8222 or Book Online to make a reservation. One-day reservations must be made a minimum of 48 hours in advance. Registration forms must be received 48 hours in advance. Please complete online registration forms 48 hours prior to arrival.

Week 4 (July 3 & 5-7) - Ages 5-8: Stars and Stripes; Ages 9-12: Celebrate USA
Week 5 (July 10-14) - Ages 5-8: Making Mountains; Ages 9-12: Geology 
Week 6 (July 17-21) - Ages 5-8: Finding Treasure; Ages 9-12: History of LCC (Drama)
Week 7 (July 25-28) - Ages 5-8: All About Utah; Ages 9-12: Finding Snowbird
Week 8 (July 31-August 4) - Ages 5-8: Invention Week; Ages 9-12: Invention Week
Week 9 (August 7-11) - Ages 5-8: Super Hero; Ages 9-12: Snowbird X Games
Week 10 (August 14-18) - Ages 5-8: Carnival; Ages 9-12: Festival

TRANSPORTATION

Campers depart at the mouth of the canyon each day at 7:45 am. Campers and counselors ride the UTA bus up to the resort and return them to the Park & Ride by 5:25 pm. If you have siblings in Mountain School Summer Camps, please let us know so we can help you coordinate transportation. 

REMINDERS

Running/hiking/biking shoes must be provided (no open-toed shoes or flip-flops; campers with improper footwear will miss out on activities). 
Hats and sun-sensible clothing are necessary each day. No tank tops. 
Please pack sweatshirts or wind-breakers each day (rain gear on wet days). Temperatures can dip in the morning and afternoon.  
Camp is an electronic device free zone. 
We swim every day. Please let us know if your child cannot swim and please provide a flotation device accordingly.
A water bottle is required every day due to physical exertion and altitude!
Please pack a sweatshirt or jacket every day.
