Snowcat Skiing

Do it for nature.

The Snowbird Snowcat Skiing for Nature is a guided backcountry ski experience in upper American Fork Canyon including five distinct areas: Sinner’s Pass, Pagan Basin, and Borussia in Mineral Basin, Miller Hill and Mary Ellen Gulch. This terrain is located on Snowbird’s private property south and east of Snowbird. Half-day, custom and private tours are available for groups up to 10 people.

Proceeds from the Snowbird Snowcat Skiing for Nature program benefit the Cottonwood Canyons Foundation and the Wasatch Water Legacy Partnership, working with volunteers to improve the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest and Salt Lake City’s drinking water. *All guided trips include avalanche transceiver.
