Opening Day 2023-24

Nothing beats that first-day feeling. Grab your crew and get ready: The 2023-24 Winter season is kicking off on Thursday, November 30, in Gad Valley starting at 9 am. Red Bull and the MXT Sound Vehicle will be providing tunes curated by DJ Matty Mo from 8 am - Noon next to Gadzoom, pumping good tunes and good vibes. Keep an eye out for the Red Bull team around the parking lots for some free products.

Opening Day Lifts & Terrain

• Aerial Tram | 9 - 3:45 pm – Access to Regulator Johnson only, experts only
• Gadzoom | 9 am – 4 pm – Intermediate to expert terrain, only
• Chickadee | 9 am – 5 pm

Pass and Ticket Pick-up

All Snowbird Season Passholders and Winter Lift Ticket purchasers will need to pick up a NEW pass/reloadable ticket. You can quickly redeem your season pass or lift ticket at the Pick-Up Boxes located at the Snowbird Center, Creekside Lodge and The Cliff Lodge. Learn more about how to redeem your new season pass in two easy steps:

• Scan the QR code from your printed confirmation or phone.
• Your pass will print and drop into the tray.

Services Available

• Dining: Offering fresh coffee, pastries, sandwiches and soups, the Creekside Café will be open from 7:30 am - 4:30 pm, daily starting Nov. 30. Additionally, The Aerie, SeventyOne, The Lodge Bistro, Wildflower, Steak Pit, The Forklift, Tram Car Pizza, Tram Club, The Atrium, Birdfeeder & General Gritts will be open. The Summit, Rendezvous, Gadzooks, Subie Shack and Mid-Gad services are closed. • Lodging: Save 33% on lodging for a minimum of 2 nights with the Welcome Winter lodging special. 
• Lift Tickets & Season Passes: The Snowbird Center Ticket and Season Pass Office will continue operating from 8:30 am - 4 pm; Creekside Ticket Office will be open from 8:30 am - 3 pm. All Snowbird Season Passholders will need to pick up a new pass for the season. Skip the line and scan your QR Code at Pick-Up Boxes, located at Snowbird Center, Creekside and The Cliff Lodge.
• Mountain Center: The new Mountain Center, located on the Plaza Deck, will be open daily starting on November 30, from 8:30 am – 4:30 pm. Guests can book a seat with Snowbird Mountain Guides, a lesson with Snowbird Mountain School, purchase a lift ticket, make dinner reservations and more at this one-stop shop. 
• Rentals & Retail: Creekside Sports and Cliff Sports will be open from 8:30 am - 5 pm for rental equipment and repair services. All retail outlets, with the exception of Cliff Sports Retail and Snowbird Sports & Rentals, will be open. View the rental and retail overview for hours of operation.
• Lessons: Private lessons are available starting opening day, November 30, by prior reservation only. All group lessons for kids and adults begin December 16.
• Parking: This season, we are offering both free, first-come, first-served parking and optional, paid parking reservations. As space allows, guests can also pay to park in our reservation lots day-of. Parking lots are open to guests starting at 7 am daily.
