New Hires Bolster The Snowbird Communications Department

Snowbird, Utah – Amid its 51st winter season, Snowbird is growing its communications department as it welcomes back Sarah Sherman as Communications Manager and introduces Riley Whitney as Communications Coordinator. Sherman and Whitney will work in tandem with the resort’s marketing team, overseeing all media inquiries, public relations, internal and external communications, social media and more.

Sherman, who graduated from the University of Southern California’s Annenberg School of Communication, returns to Snowbird where she previously worked for almost two years as the Communications Manager. She brings with her nearly a decade of ski industry experience, with a focus on public relations and social media.

“I couldn’t be more excited to be rejoining the Snowbird family, bringing with me new experience and a fresh perspective,” said Sherman. “The mountain and resort are ever-changing, and it’s an honor to be able to share the stories of the past, present and future with our guests and employees.”

Whitney comes to Snowbird having recently graduating with a master’s degree in Recreation Management and Policy from the University of New Hampshire. With a background in conservation communications and outreach, Whitney is excited to begin her professional career and grow her skillset supporting communications efforts at Snowbird.
