Snowbird Enters Its Third Season of Community Giveback Through Play Forever Wednesdays
Snowbird, Utah – As part of Snowbird’s commitment to Play Forever, a program that invests in community- and environmentally-oriented initiatives to build a more resilient world for future generations, Play Forever Wednesdays will continue for the 2023-24 season. Through this weekly giveback program, Snowbird will continue to donate $5 of every lift ticket sold on Wednesdays from December 6, 2023 through April 24, 2024, to an array of non-profits focused on increasing participation in the outdoors, protecting the environment and providing local relief.
New for the 2023-24 season, Snowbird has moved to a grant-style application process, furthering the reach of the Play Forever funds by extending the opportunity to organizations that may not have previously participated. Each organization is guaranteed to receive at least $2,000. New organizations for the 2023-24 season include Alta Community Enrichment, Comunidades Unidas/Communities United, University of Utah Backcountry Squatters, Swaners Preserve & EcoCenter, SheJumps, Housing Connect Fund, Recycle Utah, Utah Clean Air and Maliheh Free Clinic.

Throughout the program’s lifetime, Play Forever Wednesdays have raised over $80,000 for participating non-profits, and are set to donate at least an additional $42,000 this season.
