Snowbird to Open with Top-to-Bottom Skiing on November 30

Snowbird, Utah – Following a record-breaking 2022-23 season, Snowbird will welcome skiers and riders back on November 30, 2023, to kick off the 2023-24 season. Skiing and riding will take place in Snowbird’s Gad Valley, with the Aerial Tram operating from 9 am to 3:45 pm, Gadzoom operating from 9 am to 4 pm and Chickadee operating from 9 am to 5 pm. Terrain will be limited to advanced and experts only off the Tram, with access to Regulator Johnson. No beginner terrain will be available with the exception of Chickadee. In addition to skiing and riding, guests will be able to enjoy music from DJ Matty Mo, who will perform live from the Red Bull MXT
Sound Vehicle
in Gad Valley.

As the 2023-24 season begins, Snowbird will also welcome numerous resort improvements, including the Mountain Center. Located off the Snowbird Center's Plaza Deck, the Mountain Center will be open from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm and will allow guests to make dinner reservations, book a snowcat or helicopter seat with Snowbird Mountain Guides, schedule a lesson with Snowbird Mountain School, buy their lift tickets, get information about the mountain and more. Also new for the 2023-24 season, qualifying Snowbird Season Passholders can redeem a Kids Freeloader Pass—a free Snowbird Season Pass for anyone 18 and under—as Snowbird works to increase accessibility to winter sports for the next generation.

“It seems like only yesterday we were saying goodbye to last season in mid-June. After a short but sweet summer, we are eager to welcome our guests back to the mountain for another memorable winter, filled with incredible experiences and moments.”

- Dave Fields, Snowbird President and General Manager

Lift tickets will be available at the Snowbird Center and Creekside. Guests are encouraged to purchase lift tickets online and save time upon arrival by utilizing Snowbird’s Pick-Up Boxes, located near all Ticket Offices. All Snowbird Season Passholders are also required to pick up new season pass media and can utilize the Pick-Up Boxes to do so. Snowbird will continue to utilize a hybrid parking system this year, including free, first-come, first-served parking and optional, paid parking reservations.
