Parking at Snowbird
From parking to powder.
Snowbird's hybrid parking program offers a variety of ways to park and enjoy the mountain. New for 2026-27, Snowbird Season Passholders will receive 1 free rolling parking reservation for the Upper Gad Valley Lot. Other ways to park include free lots (available on a first-come, first-served basis), reserved paid daily parking and preferred lots for those with a Preferred Parking Pass (sold out).
Make finding a spot easier by bringing your friends. Carpool-only spots for 3+ people are available in the Main Lot, Upper Gad Valley Lot, Entry 1 Lot and Superior Lot. Plus, you can track your carpool days in the Snowbird App to collect cool prizes throughout the season.

Free Parking
The majority of parking at Snowbird is free. Excluding select reservations, lodging-specific lots, and valet lots, parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Free parking will be available at:
- Entry 1 (west of Creekside)
- Wilbere Hill
- Main Lot
- Chickadee Hill & Superior Lot (when conditions permit)
- The Bypass Road (excluding the Preferred Parking area)
- ADA-accessible parking is available at the Snowbird Center, Creekside, The Cliff Lodge, The Lodge at Snowbird, The Inn and Iron Blosam.
Parking along the south side of SR-210 between Entry 1 and 4 will be available on a first-come, first-served basis when conditions allow. Availability of this option will be determined daily by the Utah Department of Transportation based on conditions and will be communicated via our Mountain Report, typically around 7 am.
Remaining spots in preferred parking lots, reserved lots and paid parking lots will open at 1 pm to afternoon guests as free parking.
Carpool (3+)
Snowbird continues to make carpooling a key priority. Carpool-only parking spots will be available in the Main Lot, Upper Gad Valley Lot (South Side as Posted), Entry 1 Lot, Lower Chickadee Hill and select spaces in the Superior Lot. These will be indicated by signage and cannot be reserved in advance.
Snowbird will be offering a variety of surprise giveaways on select peak traffic days throughout the season as part of the Canyon Carpool Club program. Proceeds from the Preferred Parking Pass help fund Snowbird's expanded carpool programs.
EV Chargers
Plug in and charge up. Snowbird offers 15 complimentary electric vehicle charging stations throughout the resort, installed through a partnership with Subaru of America, Inc. and Leaders for Clean Air.
EV Charger locations:
- Entry 2: At the north side of the Pond Lot (Winter reservation required)
- Entry 3: Outside The Inn (reserved for lodging guests)
- Entry 4: In The Cliff Lodge Parking Structure (first-come, first-served)
Passholder Parking Perk
Passholders receive 1 FREE rolling reservation for parking in the Upper Gad Valley Lot.
1 Rolling Reservation for Passholders
New for the 2026-27 Season, eligible Snowbird Passholders will receive 1 free rolling parking reservation for the Upper Gad Valley Lot, so you can mosey up on your own timeline. The Upper Gad Valley Lot will be for parking by reservation only. Once you use your first reservation, you'll be able to make another, on repeat as space allows.
Paid Parking
Choose how you arrive. Secure a spot in a lot with one of Snowbird's paid parking options.
Reserve a Paid Spot Ahead of Time
Daily paid parking is available as an option for all Snowbird visitors. Guests who enjoy the convenience of making parking reservations can reserve a spot in the Lower Gad Valley (paid), Upper Gad Valley Lot (free for Passholders), Pond Lot (paid), or Chickadee Lot (paid), or at the Snowbird Center Valet (paid). Spots are available for purchase online in advance. Missed reservations are non-refundable.

Valet Parking
Valet parking will be available at the Snowbird Center and The Cliff Lodge. Guests may book a valet parking reservation in advance or purchase a spot on a first-come, first-served basis upon arrival, depending on availability.
Preferred Parking Pass
The 2026-27 Preferred Parking Pass gives you access to the Lower Gad Valley, Pond and Bypass Road Preferred Parking Lots for the season.
Preferred Parking Pass purchases support Snowbird’s sustainability and carpool programs through UTA Ski Bus access for season passholders, increased carpool spots and perks for carpoolers.
Note: The Preferred Parking Pass is sold out for the 2026-27 Season.
