New Aerial Tram Cabins

🛠️ Utah's most beloved Tram is getting a makeover.

New Shape.
New Experience.
Same Legend.

As Snowbird congratulates the original 1971 Tram cabins on a stand-out career, 2 new cabins will whisk guests to Hidden Peak this winter, and into the future of the mountain. The new Tram cabins pay homage to the original Red and Blue Trams while incorporating a fresh, sleek design and a few extra bells and whistles.

The in-ground windows and floor-to-ceiling windows of the Blue Tram offered visitors a completely new experience this summer, emulating a feeling of flying. As the temperatures cool and the leaves change, Snowbird patiently awaits the arrival of the new Red Tram cabin, set to be operational for the winter 2022-23 season.

New for Summer 2023, prepare yourself to experience *drumroll please*... a rooftop balcony (the first of its kind in the United States). Guests can spread their wings and ride outside while the Aerial Tram climbs and descends from 11,000 feet with 360-degree views.

Tram 2.0 Opening Day

The new Aerial Tram will officially open for the 2022-23 winter season on Friday, November 25. Join us in celebrating this monumental day and learn more about our Tram 2.0 Opening Day event.
