Living in the Salt Lake Valley offers big city choices, a variety of living options, restaurants, entertainment, shopping and more. Snowbird is conveniently located 25 miles from downtown and 7 miles from the entrance of Little Cottonwood Canyon making it the most accessible ski resort in Salt Lake City.
Snowbird has only limited employee housing at the resort. These accommodations are held for positions that provide operational continuity and emergency and critical maintenance rapid response.
Employee Transportation
Snowbird partners with Utah Transit Authority (UTA) for public bus service to the resort from December through April and for a significant number of employee-operated rideshare (carpool) vans for a variety of employee transportation options (these ride services are free to employees).
