The Steve Young Ski Classic, hosted by Wasatch Adaptive Sports (WAS), is Utah’s premier celebration of inclusive skiing–benefiting children, adults and veterans with disabilities. This storied adaptive skiing showcase, dinner, auction and engaging fundraiser empowers individuals to improve their physical, mental and social well-being through outdoor recreation.

The Doug Smith Subaru Athlete Challenge features exciting adaptive ski races where 100+ adaptive athletes, including WAS participants, race alongside and against Paralympians, local mascots, princesses and professional athletes in Chickadee Bowl. For the second year in a row, the event will feature two days of racing—doubling athlete participation. Special thanks to Doug Smith Subaru for making this possible.
The Steve Young Ski Classicevening event is a true celebration of the year’s success, bringing everyone together for a night of live music, dinner, and both live and silent auctions. The Cliff Lodge sets the stage for inspiring stories from WAS athletes and their families.
If you’re wondering how you can make an impact, there are 3 meaningful ways to help: sponsor the event, purchase a table or participate in the online auction. WAS is also seeking auction items to support the event’s live and silent auctions. Please contact our events team at events@wasatchadaptivesports.org for more information and to submit auction items.
