Yeah, you read that right. At Snowbird, youth up to age 18 get a free, unlimited season pass to Snowbird with the purchase of a qualifying adult pass. Because we believe the future is bright for the upcoming generation of skiers and snowboarders. The craziest part? No relation is required. Cool aunts, caring neighbors and good family friends can all participate.
Any 2024-25 Adult, Senior or Military Summit or Alta-Bird Pass qualifies for the option to add on a free Kids Freeloader Pass. Our Kids Freeloader Pass program embodies Snowbird's commitment to increasing access to winter sports for the future generation while acknowledging that families come in many shapes and sizes. We hope it instills a multi-generational love for the mountains now and for years to come.

All Adult, Senior and Military Summit and Alta-Bird passholders qualify for 1 Kids Freeloader Pass per season pass purchased (valid at Snowbird only).
The Kids Freeloader Pass can be assigned to anyone age 18 and under with the purchase of an Adult, Senior or Military Summit Pass. The Kids Freeloader Pass is non-transferable between people. No relation is necessary between passholders.
No, the adult associated with the Kids Freeloader Pass does not need to be present for the pass to work.
No. Snowbird recognizes that families and communities come in different shapes and sizes. By not requiring the adult pass associated with the Kids Freeloader Pass to be a legal guardian, we hope to support kids who get on the mountain with grandparents, aunts, uncles, family friends and more.
No, the Kids Freeloader Pass is only a Snowbird offering and is not valid at Alta.
During the checkout process of your Summit or Alta-Bird pass, you'll be prompted to assign your Kids Freeloader Pass. If you're not sure who to give it to yet, you can visit the Ticket Office by February 28, 2025 to add a Freeloader Pass to your account.
If you are renewing a 2023-24 Snowbird Pass, your 2024-25 pass can be automatically added to your existing season pass card.
If you are a new passholder or need a new pass card, you can quickly redeem your Kids Freeloader, Summit, Alta-Bird or Flex-5 Pass at the Pick-Up Boxes located throughout the Snowbird Center, Creekside Lodge and The Cliff Lodge.
