Summer Scenics

A typical summer at Snowbird starts late in June and runs through mid-September. Peak wildflower season happens mid-July through mid-August, with lupines, paintbrushes, columbines and more from top to bottom of the mountain. Summer weddings feature more predictable temperatures and longer days.

Autumn Scenics

The leaves at Snowbird start turning at the end of August, and the aspens' yellows, reds and oranges peak right before the snow comes. Fall sunsets are something to remember, with the sun setting directly down canyon. The weather is typically cooler in the evenings and mornings and mid-60s to 70s during the day. However, the first snow of the season tends to happen in September or early-October.

Winter Scenics

Winter starts on opening day and lasts through mid-May. Winter weddings have the backdrop of Little Cottonwood's snowy peaks, alpenglow sunsets and sometimes idyllic snowstorms.
