AIARE Avalanche Rescue Course
Practice your skills.
Cover the basics of companion rescue with an AIARE Avalanche Rescue course. AIARE Rescue is an 8-hour course that reviews the basics of avalanche rescue, multiple-burial rescues and techniques for complex rescue scenarios. This course is ideal for those who are new to the backcountry or who want to refresh their skills before or after taking an AIARE 1 course.
Snowbird Mountain Guides' avalanche courses follow the American Institute for Avalanche Research and Education Curriculum, as standardized by the American Avalanche Association.
Gear Up: As part of our partnership with Mammut, avalanche gear is available to demo for students enrolled in Snowbird Mountain Guides' Avalanche Education courses. Come check out Mammut's touring backpack, Barryvox transceiver, avalanche probe and avalanche shovel.
