Mountain Report
Summer has officially arrived at The Bird. We are open daily from 11 am - 8 pm, conditions permitting, with summer activities like Summer Scenic Tram Rides, the Tram rooftop balconies, Mountain Coaster and more. Purchase your All-Day Activity Pass online for access to your Snowbird favorites, and be sure to add on a Tram rooftop balcony ride to experience a new perspective of our beloved canyon.
Join us this Saturday, July 27, for the Wasatch Wildflower Festival, celebrating the beauty and ecological diversity of wildflowers in the Wasatch Mountains. Hosted by the Cottonwood Canyons Foundation, this event offers guided and self-guided wildflower walks from 9 am to 1 pm.
Please note that construction is ongoing in Gad Valley this summer—we recommend hiking in Peruvian Gulch or taking advantage of our Guided Hikes program. You can check which trails are open here. While on the mountain, please respect all closures and be aware that you may encounter machinery and equipment.
Live updates and hours for each summer activity can be found here. On Tuesday, July 30, summer activities will be closed for a private event.
