Renting or demoing skis allows you to arrive at the mountain with ease. If you're traveling here, skip flying with oversized luggage and the worry of fitting it into a rental car. When you rent skis from Snowbird, they will be waiting for you, slopeside, at one of 3 shops. If you're local, renting lets you choose freshly tuned gear with a variety of options that match the day's conditions.

Renting from Snowbird also allows you to stop by any of the shops throughout the day to make adjustments to your gear and ensure it fits properly.

Rentals are ideal for those starting out. The skis and snowboards are more flexible and forgiving, making them a great choice for beginners building their ski skills.

Demos allow you to push your skiing to the next level with the latest and greatest from popular brands. Whether you're looking to test out a ski or snowboard before you buy or want gear during your visit that's built for performance, Snowbird's demo fleet has options for every condition and every type of rider.

When you book online, 2 or more weeks in advance, you save 10% on your daily rentals. Lodging guests can save even more with Stay & Save.

Of course! All of Snowbird's rental shops are staffed with extremely knowledgeable employees who are ready to help you get the gear that's right for you so you can have a fun and memorable time on the mountain. They will work with you to ensure your boots fit properly, your ski bindings' DINs are set correctly or your snowboard bindings are the correct distance apart. They'll also help you determine the appropriate ski or snowboard length and shape for your goals for the day.

Yes! If you know you want to test out skis but aren't sure which ones to try, you've come to the right place. Snowbird's rental and demo shop employees live and breathe skiing and snowboarding at Snowbird and have a vast understanding of the best available gear and the latest conditions. They'll help you get set up with a demo that fits the day's conditions.
