The only way to access Snowbird is via SR-210 in Little Cottonwood Canyon. Located a short drive from Salt Lake City International Airport, Snowbird is the ideal place to find a reprieve from the summer heat. For those driving, it will take about 45 minutes. Canyon Transportation is also available year-round for seamless transport to and from the airport. During Oktoberfest, make sure to utilize Snowbird’s Free Ride Down program if you plan on enjoying local brews.
Snowbird offers over 20 summer activities, including Summer Scenic Tram Rides, Peruvian Chairlift rides, the Alpine Slide, Mountain Coaster, Guided Hiking and more. This summer, Snowbird will also offer rides atop the Tram in the all-new rooftop balconies—the first of their kind in the United States—as an add-on for an additional cost.
