01 / Chickadee Lift Replacement
Status: Completed Summer 2026
Chickadee, Snowbird's original beginner lift, got replaced. Built by SkyTrac, the new beginner lift is a fixed-grip quad with a slow-loading conveyor.
02 / New Mid-Mountain Restaurant
Status: Completed December 2025
Snowbird's mid-mountain restaurant, The Nest, pays homage to the original Mid-Gad Restaurant but has been transformed into a modern, single-level space with floor-to-ceiling views and a faster counter-style service.
03 / Tram Bar
Status: Completed Winter 2025
The original Red Tram cabin is back and better than ever–as a part of The Tram Club's outdoor patio.
04 / Wilbere Lift Improvements

Snowbird’s original Wilbere Lift was transformed into a fixed-grip quad chairlift.

08 / Snowbird Power Systems

Snowbird Power Systems is the only cogeneration facility at a ski resort in North America, providing increased energy efficiency and reliability.

In 2019, Snowbird constructed an all-new restaurant, SeventyOne, and an additional conference space, which brought a new flavor and experience to The Cliff Lodge.
10 / Snowbird Center Renovation

As the central hub of Snowbird, the renovations at the Snowbird Center added ease and comfort to visits to Snowbird.
11 / New Pedestrian Bridges

The new network of two bridges allows for easier access to The Cliff Lodge, Snowbird Center & Lower Village.
12 / The Summit Project

With over 25 years of planning, The Summit is Utah’s highest restaurant at 11,000 feet. Completed in 2016, it provides guests with unmatched views.
