Snowbird Checklist

Download the Snowbird App for easy access to up-to-date information on snow, canyon road conditions, lift & terrain status, parking inventory and more. Just want a quick look? Visit the Mountain Report.

The only way to access Snowbird is via Highway SR-210 in Little Cottonwood Canyon. Due to the narrow canyon road and frequent snowfall, consider road and traffic conditions when planning your arrival. Review our getting here page to learn about transportation options. If you plan on driving yourself, check the canyon driving requirements for snow days to ensure your vehicle is properly equipped and compliant with state laws. We also recommend reviewing parking information to ensure you park in the lot closest to your destination, be it The Cliff Lodge (Entry 4), Snowbird Center (Entry 2) or Creekside (Entry 1).

For the biggest savings on lift tickets, purchase online in advance. Lift tickets are also available for purchase onsite, at full price. Ticket windows are located at Creekside (Entry 1, Level 2), the Snowbird Center (Entry 2, located on the Plaza Deck) or at The Cliff Lodge (Entry 4, Level 1). Those who have purchased their tickets in advance can skip the Ticket Office line and utilize our Pick-Up Boxes, located near all ticket windows.

Lodging guests at Snowbird are eligible for exclusive savings on lift tickets (along with Fast Tracks, rentals & demos and Adult Workshops) with Snowbird & Save.

Staying at one of our 4 slopeside lodging properties is the best way to experience Snowbird. Choose between condo and hotel-style accommodations with amenities including on-site dining, fitness rooms, pools, hot tubs and the world-class Cliff Spa.

When you stay with us, you also score an exclusive 20% off lift tickets, Fast Tracks, rentals & demos and Adult Workshops with Snowbird & Save. Check out all our lodging specials to lock in unique experiences and deep savings.

Reserve your gear in advance to save big and secure more time exploring the mountain. Snowbird offers 3 convenient rental locations: Cliff Sports (inside The Cliff Lodge and great for overnight guests), Snowbird Sports (Level 2, Snowbird Center) or Creekside Sports (located at Creekside and ideal for day guests), all of which offer the latest and greatest rental and demo equipment from leading ski and snowboard brands. If you’ve booked a lesson with Snowbird's Mountain School, your rentals will be waiting at Snowbird Sports at the Snowbird Center.

Yes! While Snowbird is known for its big terrain, there are still plenty of options for those just starting. And, as the locals say, "If your kids learn to ski here, they can ski anywhere." Check out our family guide to Snowbird for ski-in/ski-out daycare options, Mountain School, recommendations on where to ski with your kids, off-mountain entertainment and food options for the whole family.

Whether you’re speeding through express lift lanes with Fast Tracks, relaxing in a rooftop hot tub at The Cliff Lodge or enjoying birds-eye views of the Wasatch Mountains from a helicopter, elevate your time here by upgrading your day.

For on-site, in-person assistance, check out the Mountain Center located on the Plaza Deck. The Mountain Center is a one-stop shop where guests can make dinner reservations, book snowcat or helicopter skiing, schedule a lesson with Mountain School, buy their lift tickets, get information about the mountain and more.
