Wasatch Trail Run Series
Snowbird mountain run.
Run along the dirt trails and open spaces of Snowbird during The Wasatch Trail Run Series. The Wasatch Trail Run Series takes place on Wednesday eventings throughout the spring and summer at ski resorts and open space preserves throughout the mountains close to Salt Lake City. Choose to sign up for races individually or as a season long package.
Long Course | 7.25 miles, 2,000 ft of elevation gain
Start at Creekside next to the bottom of Gadzoom. Run up the dirt road past the Snowbird Center and The Cliff Lodge. From here, wind your way up on a mix of wide trails and single track to the Mid-Gad Restaurant before flying down on the Big Mountain Trail and Midway Trail. The final part of the course runs on the Baby Thunder Trail before heading back to the finish at Creekside.
Short Course | 4.6 miles, 877 ft of elevation gain
Start at Creekside next to the bottom of Gadzoom, run up a dirt road for a short stretch under the Aerial Tram and Peruvian Express. From here, you'll turn onto the Peruvian Gulch Trail and continue your climb through a mix of wider dirt roads and single track. Continue running through a scenic meadow before descending back towards the finish on meandering trails past the Mid-Gad midway station.
