Powder 8 US Nationals

The 2nd event of the Powder 8's hosted at Snowbird, the National Qualifier of the  Mike Wiegele Helicopter Skiing World Power 8 Championships is put on by Powderbird in the Wasatch Range of Utah.

The Powder 8's competition puts teams head-to-head to create the best synchronized figure '8s' on amazing powder skiing terrain. 

The top 4 teams that advance in the pre-qualifying event at Snowbird will move to compete in this US Nationals event. The national qualifying event on February 5 - 7, 2020 is closed to the public.

• Registrations is closed. Competitors must qualify in the Pre-Qualifier event in order to compete at the US Nationals.
• Meet at the Powderbird Headquarters located on the Bypass Road above The Cliff Lodge.
• There will be a 2-day weather window to provide competitors with the best conditions.
• Head-to-Head judged competition.
• 4 teams will move on in March for the World Championships held by Mike Wiegele Helicopter Skiing in Blue River, British Columbia.
